Ateliers HELLUIN-MATTLINGER for BOUCHERON, Paris. Superb beauty set in silver (minimum mark 800/1000) and vermeil (mixed hallmark with boar's head and eagle's head), the lid decorated with a finely openwork and chased frame on a mirror background, depicting birds in flight in a stylized plant setting, set with small rubies in cabochons. It opens to reveal two spring-loaded lipstick tubes, a tortoiseshell comb, two compartments, one of which is a powder compact (the shaving brush is missing), and on the lid, a mirror with a two-panel folding system. The yellow-gold-plated clasp (slight chip on the upper left and slight rubbing on the upper right). Signed, numbered and hallmarked. Circa 1945-1950. Gross weight: 497g. 2.5 x 13.5 x 9.5 cm. In its original case. Including two original fabric cases (as is).
